A major highpoint in the calendar of events of the Ondo State based Coalition 2020, in preparation for October 10th gubernatorial election in the state. Coalition 2020 is a group, which comprise of political parties, religious bodies/leaders, women/youth organisations, interest groups, political leaders, etc. that has interest and passionate about the affairs of Ondo state.

A mega meeting, which held at Exclusive Hall Akure, to formal present His Excellency, Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) to the membership of the coalition as the candidate to support in the October 10th Election. The meeting, which had various dignitaries in attendance with special mention of Hon.Barr Fareedah Akinlabi Abiola; the coordinator of the Abuja Chapter of the Coalition 2020 and cultural display by various cultural groups from Benue community,Ebira Community, Hausa community and Tampan association etc was grace by the incubent governor of Ondo state and APC gubernatorial flag bearer in the forthcoming election; His Excellency, Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) alongside members of his cabinets.

In his address, while also speaking on behalf of the coalition, Hon. Akinbobola Akin promised his Execllency that, the members of coalition will work and work tirelessly to ensure his victory October 10 gubernatorial election. Stating that the entire coalition is adopted a candidate that has what it takes to pilot the state to a better tomorrow, a candidate that will take the citizens to the greater heights through good governance.
His etxecllency, Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu was then presented to the leadership and members of coalition 2020 as the candidate to emerge victorious comes October 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
